In a short time, LVA has built an impressive track record in more than 80 projects and is now recognized internationally for its designs of airports and hospitals, building a reputation all over the world for innovation and commitment to functional and flexible designs.

• First prize in the international competition for the new Zaragoza airport.
• Finalist of the Mies Van der Rohe Prize 2009.
• Winner of “Best Hospital of the future prize 2010” from the International Academy for Design & Health for the Can Misses Hospital in Ibiza and the New Vigo Hospital in Galicia.
• Madrid Town Hall Architecture Prize in 2005 for the best commercial premises, for the restaurant in the Reina Sofia museum.
• Luis Vidal designed the new Terminal 2 at Heathrow Airport.
• The studio is also participating in the Space Port project, near Denver, Colorado.

As a result of the growing and necessary international expansion, the increased regulatory complexity and the sheer volumes of transactions and administrative actions required very specialized knowledge, as well as strengthening the daily support for its internal management.
